"Junsu, wake up," a familiar voice called out to him.
Wrinkling his brows, Junsu opened his eyes. His vision cleared and he realized who was talking to him. "Jaejoong hyung," Junsu greeted, sitting up immediately to hug Jaejoong.
"You shouldn't have touched the mirror. Why didn't you listen to them?"
"We had a job to do, and that is to save Hamao-san. Since you mentioned that this place only holds two at a time, I figured that if I came in the one who stayed the longest would be pushed out. It worked, didn't it?"
"I'm not sure if it worked or not, but Hamao-san was indeed pushed out. You, on the other hand, need to be scolded. How could you be so reckless?"
"I didn't want you guys to end up like Ito-san," Junsu stated.
"Ito-san was the previous owner of the mirror."
"Hamao-san told you about him?"
"Yes." Jaejoong nodded. "What happened to him?"
"Ito-san stopped breathing in his coma and they couldn't revive him."
Jaejoong frowned. "Was it because of me?"
"Jaejoong. Junsu. Could you hear me?" Dongwook's voice made both of them look out to the storage room. "Hamao-san made it out safely. Do you hear that? He's awake." The older team member informed them once he heard the information being passed through his earpiece. "We're going to get you out."
"Hamao-san is okay," Jaejoong said happily. "Thank goodness."
"And...Junsu. Yoochun is unable to leave the headquarter at the moment. He wants you to know that he'll get you out of there alive so that he could lecture you in person."
Junsu mumbled, "Dork."
"Yoochun really cares about you."
Jaejoong reached over to hold Junsu's hand. "The fact that you are able to be pulled into the mirror worries me, Junsu. If you need to talk about anything, I'm here to listen. Always."
"I'm fine, Jaejoong hyung. Really." Junsu attempted to convince Jaejoong while forcing on a smile.
Meanwhile, Daisuke released his embrace and cupped Kyousuke's face. "Mao, do you recall what happened to you?"
"I..." Kyousuke dug deep into his memories trying hard to recollect. "I was in the mirror."
"Yes," Daisuke gazed at Kyousuke and encouraged him to continue.
"He didn't make it."
"Oh, no." Kyousuke felt sad for the man who accompanied him in the other dimension. "He was a wonderful person. Unfortunately, no one truly cared about him. They just hung around him because he was rich, including his ex-wife. Actually, especially his ex-wife. Ito-san was so depressed when she divorced him. He didn't mind giving her half of his fortune, but the fact that she only pretended to love him in order to acquire his money hurt him."
Daisuke let go of Kyousuke's face and held his hand instead. "He's in a better place now."
"I hope so. He deserves to be happy."
"So do you." Daisuke's eyes well up with tears. "I'm sorry for making you feel unloved, Mao. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have been pulled into the mirror. Forgive me?"
"It wasn't your fault, Dai-chan."
"It was and I want you to know that I love you very much. I'm aware that I haven't been spending enough time with you because of work. I want to be able to give you everything you want. I'm nine years your senior and I have to take care of you."
"I don't require material things to be happy. I grew up without having much and I'm fine with that. All I need is you. I love you, Dai-chan and I also want to take care of you." Kyousuke sniffed as tears trailed down his face.
"I understand." Daisuke smiled warmly at the love of his life. "We'll take care of each other."
Releasing Kyousuke's hand, Daisuke gently wiped the teary streaks off the lad's face with his fingers. "Don't cry."
Something finally came to mind, and Kyousuke's eyes widened. "K-Kim-san? Where is he?"
"Jaejoong is still trapped in the mirror," Yunho notified.
Kyousuke looked up at the man and blurted aloud when he recognized him. "You're the tallest of the three."
"I beg your pardon?"
"You're Jung-san. You like Kim-san a lot. Am I right?"
"He's a part of our team. Of course, I like him."
"Funny. He said the same thing to me about you."
"Yes." Kyousuke proceeded. "Are you in love with him?"
"It's good to be honest with your feelings."
"I am," Yunho admitted.
Kyousuke caught sight of the taller young male standing next to Yunho frowning. "Why didn't you tell him?"
"I'm his boss. I don't think it's appropriate for us to..."
"If you love him, you should tell him," Kyousuke cut in. "Life is short. Anything could happen and you'll regret it when it's too late."
"D-Did Jaejoong hyung tell you who he likes?" Changmin interrupted suddenly.
"This is another member of my team, Shim Changmin," Yunho introduced.
"It is nice to meet you too, Hamao-san. You could call me, Changmin."
"Changmin-san," Kyousuke addressed. "Kim-san haven't told me who he likes, but I could sense his admiration toward Jung-san."
"Oh," Changmin sighed inwardly, "I see."
Again, Kyousuke spotted the disappointment on Changmin's face. 'I think Changmin-san likes Kim-san, too,' he thought. "Yes! I won the bet. Kim-san has to show me around when I visit
"What bet?" Yunho was curious.
"It's a secret."
"You're keeping secrets from me?" Daisuke inquired.
"I'll tell you later. First, we have to get Kim-san out of there so that I could claim my victory." Kyousuke got out of bed only to collapse on the floor.
"Mao!" Daisuke immediately went to help him up. "You've been in a coma for over two weeks. You barely woke up. Your body is still weak."
"Could you help me downstairs, Dai-chan?"
"I would do anything for you, Mao."
"Kim-san told me about a possible solution. It might or might not work, but it's definitely worth a try. May I ask who was pulled into the mirror as my replacement?"
"His name is Kim Junsu. He's one of the investigators," Yunho provided.
"What did Jaejoong hyung tell you?" Changmin queried.
"From what we saw on the other side, only three of us made the mirror glow. Since both Kim-sans are currently in the mirror, I'm the only one who could get them out. I will have to go back in."
"What?" Daisuke yelled. "You can't do that. You just got out."
"I have to Dai-chan. This is the only way."
"This is our plan. Kim-san, um...since there are two, let's call the other Junsu-san so that we wouldn't get confused." Kyousuke told them. "Kim-san will be pushed out the instant I'm pulled in, so he'll try to grab the two of us on his way out."
"What if he is unable to pull you out?" Daisuke voiced his concern.
"Then, we will try until we succeed."
"I don't want you to end up like Ito-san. I can't lose you."
"You won't lose me since your love for me will lead me back into my body. The reason Ito-san wasn't able to return to his body was because no one cared or loved him enough to want him back."
"Jaejoong figured all this out himself?" Yunho seemed proud of his teammate.
"Yes," Kyousuke affirmed. "I have Dai-chan's love to bring me back. Kim-san and Junsu-san will also need someone who loves them to call their spirits back into their bodies."
"Boss, could I leave the headquarter to go be by Junsu's side?" Yoochun requested.
"Who's going to operate the equipment?"
"I'll do it." Changmin volunteered. "I am the gadget guy after all."
"Alright," Yunho agreed. "Dongwook hyung, could you assist him?"
"Let's carry Kim-san downstairs to the storage room to join Junsu-san," Kyousuke suggested.
Removing the IV needle from the backside of Jaejoong's hand, Daisuke lifted the beauty onto Yunho's back for the man to transport him. Once the two comatose victims were in the storage room with the ones who love them, Kyousuke asked Yunho to give Jaejoong the heads up.
"Tap if you're ready, Jaejoong," Yunho instructed.
Kyousuke told Yunho to go to Jaejoong's side when they heard the light tap coming from the antique. "Here goes." Approaching the antique, Kyousuke pressed a hand onto the surface. Daisuke stood behind him to catch him when his spirit got dragged in.
Jaejoong, who was holding hands with Junsu, was pushed out once Kyousuke made his entrance. Seeing Kyousuke, Jaejoong stretched his free hand out to grab him. Realizing that they weren't moving, Jaejoong decided to sacrifice himself and shoved the other two out.
"No, Kim-san!" Kyousuke shouted.
